DIY Halloween Cocktail Glasses
Johanna here with a super simple way to dress up cocktail glasses for your Halloween party this year. This is something you can pull together fifteen minutes before guests start arriving, and it works equally well for adult cocktails and kids’ drinks.
For this glass, I used May Arts’ 1.5” Net ribbon in black, and their 1.5” Solid/Check ribbon in green. I cut out a witch’s brew bottle from DCWV’s Ghosts and Goblins matstack, and stuck a little Glue Dot on the back to secure it onto the glass along with the ribbon (it’s pretty easy to peel off later when you wash them). Then I cut both ribbons into a freeform wavy shape for the “smoke” and glued them together using my new best friend, the Tombow Stamp Runner.
This glass requires the Net ribbon and Solid/Check ribbon again, using green instead of orange this time. I cut out a small strip of pumpkins from DCWV’s Ghosts and Goblins stack, and secured it to the ribbons with a Glue Dot.
Finally, for this glass I used the same ribbon, and a “Trick or Treat” cutout from DCWV’s Bewitched matstack. There are so many cute cutouts you can use from these two DCWV stacks, you can really tailor the glasses to your exact theme.
